MusicPod is a free and open source music player, podcast client and internet radio player for Linux. Using MusicPod, you can play your local system music audio files, play internet radio stations and podcasts. It comes with sort audio library with metadata, title, album and artist, search internet and podcast by tag, name or country, add and in favorite albums, podcasts and stations in your sidebar, create playlist and more.
How to Install MusicPod on Ubuntu
MusicPod is available as a snap package file for Ubuntu. Open the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) and run below MusicPod snap install command. It will install the latest version of MusicPod on your system.
sudo snap install musicpod
It should automatically connect to the network-manager-observe interface.
If it didn’t you can connect it with below command.
sudo snap connect musicpod:network-manager-observe
And open MusicPod using below command or via the show apps from the Ubuntu dock.
You can also uninstall it using below command.
sudo snap remove musicpod
