MegaMek is a free and open source Java version of BattleTech game for Linux, Windows and MacOS. In this game you can create units, maps, and scenarios for use with MegaMek and play with your friends. It is a network game. MegaMek supports infantry, battlemechs, vehicles, aerospace fighters, dropships, and warships and more unit types.
Install MegaMek on Ubuntu Linux
You can install MegaMek via flatpak package file from the remote flathub. First you need to install the latest version of flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation. You can follow below link for the installation steps.
How to Install flatpak and flathub
After that open the terminal command-line application (ctrl+alt+t ) and run below MegaMek game flatpak install command. It will install the latest version of MegaMek on your system.
flatpak install flathub org.megamek.MegaMek
And open the MegaMek using below command.
flatpak run org.megamek.MegaMek

And you can also uninstall MegaMek using this command.
sudo flatpak uninstall org.megamek.MegaMek
