KPhotoAlbum is a free and open source Image management application for Linux. Using KPhotoAlbum you can tag your photos and manage it easily and make it searchable. It comes with folder view and thumbnail view. You can search images via build-in advanced image search tool and filter images based on Exif data. Some other useful features are Geo position, find untagged images easily, media type, tokens, people and events, image slideshow, plugin support, merge duplicate and generate HTML.
Install KPhotoAlbum on Ubuntu Linux
KPhotoAlbum is available via Ubuntu repository and flatpak packages. In terminal command line software run below commands one by one to install KPhotoAlbum. You can open terminal app by using ctrl+alt+t keys or from applications menu.
sudo apt update
sudo apt install kphotoalbum
kphotoalbum
Install KPhotoAlbum via Flatpak:
You can also install KPhotoAlbum via flatpak from flathub. Follow below link for flatpak and flathub installation steps and restart your system after the installation.
How to install flatpak and flathub
After that open your terminal software and run below KPhotoAlbum flatpak installation command.
flatpak install flathub org.kde.kphotoalbum
You can open KPhotoAlbum via applications menu or below command.
flatpak run org.kde.kphotoalbum
If you don’t like then uninstall it via below command.
sudo flatpak uninstall org.kde.kphotoalbum
