How to Show Seconds in Windows 10 Taskbar Clock

Windows 10 users can reveal the seconds in the Taskbar clock by utilizing a discreet Registry tweak, as there is no direct user interface option available for this purpose.

Press the “WIN+R” key combination to open the RUN dialog box, then type “regedit” and press Enter. This action will launch the Registry Editor.

Navigate to the following key in the Registry Editor:

In the right-side pane, locate the DWORD named “ShowSecondsInSystemClock” If it’s not present, right-click on an empty area, select “New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value,” and name the new DWORD as “ShowSecondsInSystemClock

To activate the display of seconds on the Taskbar clock, double-click on the “ShowSecondsInSystemClock” DWORD and set its value to 1.
