How to install viewnior on Ubuntu – Simple image viewer

Viewnior is a open source and free image viewer for Linux OS. It is released under open source GPLv3 licence. Using this you can view Rotate, flip, crop, save, delete images in viewnior. You can set image as wallpaper in your desktop. It also comes with Animation and EXIF, IPTC metadata support.It uses modified version of the GtkImageView library and written in C (GTK+). it is easy to use, fast and simple image viewer. It comes with browse only selected images feature and navigation window support.

Install viewnior image viewer on Ubuntu:

You can install viewnior image viewer from Ubuntu source repository. Open your terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and type the below command and press the Enter key.

sudo apt-get update

If needed type your password and press the enter key. Then run below viewnior installation command on your terminal.

sudo apt-get install viewnior

After the installation. Click the show applications in the Ubuntu Gnome dock and type viewnior in the search box and click viewnior to open it.

You can also install Viewnior from Ubuntu software. Open Ubuntu software, to open Click the show applications in the Ubuntu Gnome dock and type Ubuntu software in the search box and click Ubuntu software to open it. Search Viewnior in Ubuntu software search box. click the Viewnior, then click the install button to install it.
