Damask is a free and open source wallpaper application for Linux. Using Damask you can automatically set your desktop wallpaper from Microsoft Bing Wallpaper of the day, NASA Astronomy Picture of the Day1, wallhaven, Unsplash and also from your local system images. It is released under GNU General Public License v3.0.

How to Install Damask on Ubuntu Linux

Damask is available as a flatpak package file from flathub. First install the latest version of flatpak and flathub on your system. Follow below link for the installation tips.

Restart your system after the flatpak installation. Now open the terminal application using the ctrl+alt+t keys and run below Damask app flatpak install command.

flatpak install flathub app.drey.Damask

After the installation you can open it using below command.

flatpak run app.drey.Damask

And uninstall Damask wallpaper app using below command.

sudo flatpak uninstall app.drey.Damask
