C-Dogs SDL is a free and open source classic overhead run-and-gun game for Windows, Linux and MacOS. It is a Simple DirectMedia Layer port of the old popular C-Dogs game. It is released under GNU General Public License v2.0 and game assets under CC0/CC-BY/CC-BY-SA . It comes with 4-player multiplayer, co-op AI and and death match modes. It support moddability to add game features and new campaigns, maps and more. Some important features are customize the player option, many weapons to attack and blast and more than 100 user-created campaigns.
Install C-Dogs SDL Game on Ubuntu Linux
C-Dogs SDL is available as a portable self run app. Download the C-Dogs SDL for Linux archive file from the above download link and save it on your Downloads folder. Here the downloaded file name is “C-Dogs.SDL-1.2.0-Linux.tar.gz” . It may be vary based on the version. Right click on it and select extract here.
Now open the extracted folder and navigate to the bin folder. Here you will find cdogs-sdl program file. Just right click on it and select Run and play the game.
