You can organized your notes in book, bookmark your notes, add tags, build-in search, three different layouts, edit and preview mode, markdown syntax highlighting support and many more. it is released under GNU General Public License v3.0 only.

How to Install Bookup on Ubuntu

You can install Bookup note taking app using flatpak package from the remote flathub. If you don’t have then install flatpak and flathub on your system first using the first two commands and restart it after the installation. Open the terminal software (ctrl+alt+t) run below commands.

sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

After that open the terminal app and run below Bookup flatpak install command.

flatpak install flathub org.gnome.gitlab.ilhooq.Bookup

You can open Bookup using the Show Apps from the Ubuntu dock or via below command.

flatpak run org.gnome.gitlab.ilhooq.Bookup

And you can also uninstall Bookup using below commands

flatpak uninstall org.gnome.gitlab.ilhooq.Bookup

sudo flatpak uninstall org.gnome.gitlab.ilhooq.Bookup
