How to Control Smart Lights on Linux

In Linux system you can control all your Hues, LIFX, Nanoleafs, and Arduinos smart lights using Corluma application. It is available for Linux, MacOS, iOS and Android. It comes with multiple color pickers and palettes, group lights, create lighting routines that change colors over time and many more . You can control all smart lights using local wifi and don’t need a account and without any external services.

How to Install Corluma on Ubuntu

To install Corluma on your system, you need the latest version of flatpak and flathub on your system. If you don’t have then install flatpak and flathub on your system using below commands and restart it after the installation.

flatpak install flathub net.corluma.Corluma
flatpak run net.corluma.Corluma

After that install Corluma using below flatpak install command.

flatpak install flathub net.corluma.Corluma

Then run below command to open it or you can also open it via the Show Apps Ubuntu menu.

flatpak run net.corluma.Corluma

You can also uninstall it using below command.

flatpak uninstall net.corluma.Corluma

sudo flatpak uninstall net.corluma.Corluma
