Cecilia is a free and open source audio editor and audio signal processing environment for Linux, Windows and MacOS. This application mainly for sound designers. Using this application you can create and mix and edit sounds and create your own GUI using a simple syntax. It comes with original built-in modules and presets for sound effects and synthesis. It is released under GNU GPL v3 License .
Install Cecilia on Ubuntu Linux
Cecilia is available via default Ubuntu repository, so you can install it via the terminal command-line application. Open terminal application using ctrl+alt+t keys or via application menu and run below commands one by one. It will install the latest version of Cecilia on your system.
sudo apt update
sudo apt install cecilia
cecilia
