Hugin is a free and open source panoramic imaging toolchain for Windows, MacOS and Linux. It is based on Panorama Tools. Using Hugin you can make great panorama or photomosaic photos by assemble a mosaic of photographs into a complete panorama. You can also correct your image exposure, vignetting and white balance, HDR, exposure fused or focus stacked and more. It is released under GPL-2.0-or-later license.
Install Hugin on Ubuntu Linux
Hugin is available as a flatpak package from flathub. So first install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it. After that in terminal application (ctrl+alt+t) run below Hugin flatpak install command. It will install the latest version of Hugin on your system.
flatpak install flathub net.sourceforge.Hugin
After the Hugin installation you run below command to start it.
flatpak run net.sourceforge.Hugin
If you don’t like it then uninstall it via below command.
sudo flatpak uninstall net.sourceforge.Hugin
That’s it.
