How to install QSampler Audio Sampler on Ubuntu

QSampler is a free and open source LinuxSampler frontend GUI for Linux. LinuxSampler is streaming capable pure software audio sampler. It is a lite weight audio sampler but with high stability, efficiency and very low latency. It is written in C++ and qt and released under open source GNU General Public License. It is available as a portable AppImage format for Ubuntu. First go to the below QSampler Audio Sampler download link and download the latest version in .AppImage file format.

Download QSampler

Save the downloaded .AppImage file in your Downloads folder. It will look like “qsampler-0.6.3-43.x86_64.AppImage”. You can change the below commands based on your file name. Open the terminal (ctrl+alt+t) and run below commands.

cd Downloads
sudo chmod +x ~ qsampler-0.6.3-43.x86_64.AppImage
./qsampler-0.6.3-43.x86_64.AppImage
