(Un)colored is a free document editor software with HTML & Markdown compatible for Windows, OS X & Linux. It is available for 64-bit systems only, on OS X 10.9 and later, Windows 7 and later, Ubuntu 12.04 and later, Debian 8 and later. The downloaded windows installer file size is around 37MB. Note that this is still in beta tag and more features are coming soon.
(Un)colored User interface is very minimal. It just have an empty window where you can start to type. In the writing mode, the only things you see are your content, the caret, and your cursor. To get the menu you need to move your cursor at the top of the window, the documents tab bar and the main menu will appear. Use the tabs to navigate through your documents.
It comes with search and replace option and it also comes with very powerful keyboard shortcut manager. You can view document info like number of paragraphs, words.You can save documents with themes. You can also apply the formatting options, like bold, italic, underline, headings, paragraphs, lists. It also comes with always on Top window control button.
you can also embed YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion or Twitch videos, images by URLs, SoundCloud tracks, Facebook posts or add custom content by using your own embed code.It also supports emojis.
