Tux Fishing is a free and open source 3D fishing game for Linux and Windows. It is a simple game. In this game you need to catch the fish. If you see a fish jump out of the water, then throw a lure after it and catch it.It comes with more than 55 species of fish.
Game Controls:
Mouse = Rotate Camera
Scroll = Zoom Camera
W,A / Arrows = Move Rod Cast Direction
Space = Cast Rod, the higher the rod when you release space the farther the lure launches.
How to Install Tux Fishing on Ubuntu
Tux Fishing is available as a flatpak and snap package files. Open the terminal application and run below Tux Fishing game snap install command. It will install the latest Tux Fishing on your system.
sudo snap install tuxfishing
After the successful installation of Tux Fishing, open it using the Show Apps Ubuntu menu or via below command.
tuxfishing
Install Tux Fishing via Flatpak:
You can also install Tux Fishing via below flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub com.voxdsp.TuxFishing
After the installation, run the game using below command.
flatpak run com.voxdsp.TuxFishing
