TransLines is a free and open source real time metro building game for Linux and Windows. In this game you need to build and manage big metro rail system. It comes with 9 metro lines with different colors, 12 metro stations shapes, new random stations, career support with playable cities and many more. It uses visual style similar to public transport maps of big cities.

How to Install TransLines Game on Ubuntu
TransLines is available as a flatpak, snap and native deb package file formats. Open the terminal application and run below TransLines rail game snap install command.
sudo snap install translines
After the installation, you can open TransLines using below command or via the Show Apps application menu.

Install TransLines via DEB:
Download the latest TransLines for Linux in deb package from the above download link and save it on your Downloads folder. Now in the terminal run below command.
Note: Here “translines_1.4.0_amd64.deb” is the downloaded file name. You can change below command based on your file name.
sudo apt install ./Downloads/translines_1.4.0_amd64.deb
Install TransLines via Flatpak:
You can also install TransLines via flatpak package file from the remote flathub. In terminal run below flatpak TransLines install command.
flatpak install flathub net.zdechov.app.TransLines
It will install the latest TransLines game on your system. You can run it using below command.
flatpak run net.zdechov.app.TransLines
