Microsoft announced some new features to SkyDrive website.

New features:

1.All of your photos in SkyDrive across all your albums and folders based on a timeline view.
2.TPhotos are organized into groups by event and time.
3.scroll down to navigate through all the images.
4.quickly navigate by a month name.
5.view all your photos in the filmstrip view, and then watch them in a slide show.
6.2-3x improvement in upload times for photos.
7.Windows Phone full-resolution camera upload.
8.new thumbnails layout for PowerPoint and Word files.

200 million SkyDrive users

Microsoft said in blog post that Live Mesh support will end on February 13,2013 and there are now over 200 million SkyDrive users and less than 25000 active users of Windows Live Mesh.

Microsoft announced an update to its SkyDrive with new cool features.SkyDrive now available for Windows,Mac OS X ,Windows Phone and iOS.

7GB free for all new SkyDrive users.
Ability to upload large files – up to 2GB.
Paid storage plans (+20GB, +50GB, +100GB) and prices (US$10/year, US$25/year, US$50/year).

SkyDrive for the Windows desktop:
View and manage your personal SkyDrive directly from Windows Explorer on Windows 8, Windows 7, and Windows Vista with this new preview app available in 106 languages worldwide.

Fetching files through SkyDrive.com:
