Elisa is a free and open source Qt-based music player for Linux and Windows from kde team. It is released under GNU Library General Public License, version 3. In simple and easy to use music player you can browse music by album, artist or all tracks. Here you can index your music using Baloo indexer. Some other features are playlist support, UPnP DLNA support, build-in search for songs and album. Elisa music player is a default music player for the latest Kubuntu 20.04.

Do not show email icon in the About dialog if the author has no email associated.
khtml:
Various rendering fixes for select elements (combobox + listview).
Fix a segmentation fault caused by duplicated mouse move events.
KAlarm:
Fix crash when saving new alarm.
Kmail:
Save size of message/mime splitter on size change.
KGpg:
Do not refresh keys that are unchanged after download from keyserver.
Prevent that a key shows up twice after reloading it from keyserver.

KDE wallpaper contest

The main wallpaper of the Plasma Workspaces changes every two major releases to maintain a fresh style. Submissions will be accepted until December 4th for this contest. Send your entry to [email protected] using “wallpaper2011” as subject line (mandatory).

Contest rules:

Minimum wallpaper size is 1920×1200 (additional resolutions and aspect ratios preferred).
The license for the chosen wallpaper(s) needs to be LGPL.
Photos are accepted.
Wallpapers must have a defining element that reflects KDE values—Elegance, Freedom, and Ease of Use.

How to install KDE desktop(kubuntu) on ubuntu

Method 1:
Go to Applications ->Ubuntu software center
Type kubuntu-desktop in search field and install Kubuntu Plasma Desktop system.

Method 2:
Go to System ->Administration ->Synaptic Package Manager
Type kubuntu-desktop in search field. Right click kubuntu-desktop and select mark for installation and click Mark button.Then click Apply button.
