Super Tux Party is a free and open source party game for Linux, Windows and MacOS. This game is drawing inspiration from the legendary Mario Party. It is a turn based game. Roll the die and move the number it shows forward. The blue spaces? They’re like cookie havens, filling up your stash. But watch out for those red spaces they’re the mischievous thieves trying to snatch your delicious treats. Green spaces are where the magic happens.
It also comes with mini games. you can also challenge another player. It’s all about collecting cakes. So roll the die, navigate the board, outsmart your opponents, and amass a glorious collection of cookies and cakes. Victory is sweet, and in Super Tux Party, it tastes like success with a side of frosting!
How to Install Super Tux Party on Ubuntu
Super Tux Party is available as a flatpak package file from the remote flathub. First install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation. Follow below commands for the installation instructions. Run below two commands in your terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) for flatpak and flathub installation.
sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
After that in your terminal application run below Super Tux Party flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub party.supertux.supertuxparty
And play the game using below command.
flatpak run party.supertux.supertuxparty
You can also uninstall it using below commands.
flatpak uninstall party.supertux.supertuxparty
