SuanPan is a free and open source finite element method (FEM) simulation platform for Linux, Windows and MacOS. It is a Parallel and Heterogeneous FEM framework. It is released under GNU General Public License v3.0. It comes with simple visualization, memory and thread safe support, plugin support to extend its feature, new STL containers, smart pointers and lot more.

Install SuanPan on Ubuntu Linux
SuanPan is available as a snap and flatpak package file. Open the terminal software (ctrl+alt+t) and run below command to install SuanPan.
sudo snap install suanpan
Start SuanPan using
suanpan
And you can also uninstall it using
sudo snap remove suanpan
Install SuanPan via flatpak:
First install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation.
In the terminal application run below SuanPan flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub io.github.tlcfem.suanPan
It will install the latest version of SuanPan on your system.
flatpak run io.github.tlcfem.suanPan
And uninstall SuanPan using
sudo flatpak uninstall io.github.tlcfem.suanPan
