Stone Kingdoms is a free and open source real time strategy game for Linux, Windows and MacOS and it is based on the Firefly studios Stronghold game. It is released under Apache License 2.0 but includes original artwork with permission from FireFly according to the developer of the project. It is a good medieval castle building game but still in early stage.
Install Stone Kingdoms on Ubuntu
You can install Stone Kingdoms RTS game via the flatpak package file from the flathub remote repository. If you don’t have then install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation. Follow below link for the installation tutorial.
In the terminal command-line software run below Stone Kingdoms Game flatpak install command. It will install the latest version of Stone Kingdoms on your system.
flatpak install flathub io.gitlab.stone_kingdoms.StoneKingdoms
And open the game using this command.
flatpak run io.gitlab.stone_kingdoms.StoneKingdoms
And uninstall Stone Kingdoms using this
sudo flatpak uninstall io.gitlab.stone_kingdoms.StoneKingdoms
