How to Install Simutrans on Ubuntu
Download Simutrans for Linux from the above download link and save it on your Downloads folder. Right click on the downloaded zip file and Extract it. Now open the extracted folder and right click on the simutrans program file and select Run to start the game.
Note: Here “simulinux-x64-124-1.zip” is the downloaded file name. It will change based on game version.
Install Simutrans via Flatpak:
You can also install Simutrans via below flatpak install command. If you don’t have then first install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation.
Install flatpak and flathub on Ubuntu
After that open the terminal (ctrl+alt+t) run below command.
flatpak install flathub com.simutrans.Simutrans
After the installation, start the game using below command.
flatpak run com.simutrans.Simutrans
