Oneko is a free simple and fun cat application for Linux and Windows. Using this application you can create a nice cat that follows your mouse pointer on your desktop. It look like cat chases the cursor around the screen. Neko is Japanese for cat and it is originally written for the NEC PC-9801.
How to Install Oneko on Ubuntu
To install Oneko on your system, first you need to install flatpak and flathub on your system. Follow below commands to install them. After that restart your system.
sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
After that open the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) and run below Oneko flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub com.daidouji.oneko
You can run the game using below command.
flatpak run com.daidouji.oneko
And uninstall Oneko using below commands.
flatpak uninstall com.daidouji.oneko
