HTTP Downloader is a free and open source light-weight download manager for Windows.It is multi-part download manager. It uses high performance input/output completion ports (IOCP) to give maximum download speed. Using HTTP Downloader, you can Start, Pause, Stop, and Queue up to 100 downloads at a time. You can open thousands of connections at a time but with less system resources. It is a easy to use and simple but powerful download manager.
You can download HTTP Downloader from the above download link. It comes in zip file and less than 300KB. Just extract it and open the HTTP_Downloader application file. It will start the HTTP Downloader. You don’t need to install it. It comes as portable app. The UI is very simple and clean. You can enable the toolbar from the view menu.
You can add the downloads by selecting File->Add URL(s) or just from drag and drop links into main window. And you can configure the settings via Tools->Options.

Using this you can capture URLs from the browser and send them to HTTP Downloader. To do this Go to Tools->Options menu->Server and check Enable server. Also enable “Override browser’s download manager” option in add-on. That’s it.
