Oranchelo Icon Theme on Ubuntu Linux

Oranchelo Icon Theme is a free flat icon theme for XFCE4 system and you can also install it on other desktops like unity and gnome. This icon theme is based on Super Flat Remix and inspired by Corny icons by Patryk Goworowski.

Install Oranchelo Icon Theme on Ubuntu Linux

You can install Oranchelo Icon Theme via the source and official Oranchelo Icon Theme PPA.

Download Oranchelo Icon Theme

Download the latest Oranchelo Icon Theme source file from the above download folder. When the download is complete extract the downloaded zip archive.

Extraxt Oranchelo Icon Theme

Open the extracted oranchelo folder and copy all the content and paste it inside to the hidden ~/.icons folder in your Home directory.

You can enable the hidden ~/.icons folder by checking Show Hidden Files option in file manager menu.

Activate Oranchelo Icon Theme in Ubuntu Linux

After the successful installation of tweaks open it via applications menu and go to Appearance side menu.

Activate Oranchelo

choose either Oranchelo, Oranchelo-Beka, Oranchelo-Classic-Folders, Oranchelo-Green, Oranchelo-light Icons label under themes section.

Old Oranchelo Icon Theme PPA:

It may not work on newer Ubuntu versions. In terminal run below commands one by one.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:oranchelo/oranchelo-icon-theme
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install oranchelo-icon-theme
