How to install Cantata on Ubuntu – Listen to Online Radio Stations in Ubuntu

Cantata is a free Qt5 Graphical MPD Client for Linux, Windows, macOS and Haiku. Using this app you can listen to Online Radio Stations in computer. It supports Radio stream with the ability to search for streams via TuneIn, ShoutCast, or Dirble. And it also supports other online services like Jamendo, Magnatune, SoundCloud, and Podcasts.

Install Cantata on Ubuntu

Open your terminal app in your Ubuntu system, and run the below command.

sudo apt update

Type your Ubuntu password and press the enter. After that type and enter the below command.

sudo apt install cantata -y

After the installation of Cantata, click the show applications in the Ubuntu Gnome dock and type Cantata the search box and click Cantata to open it.
