Using Sweeper, you can clean recent documents, run command history, thumbnail cache, browser cookies, favorite icons, web history and cache, form completion entries and cookie policies. It is released under GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 or later.

How to Install Sweeper on Ubuntu

To install Sweeper on your system, run below snap installation command in the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t). It will install the latest version of Sweeper on your system.

sudo snap install sweeper

After the successful installation of Sweeper, you can open it from the Show Apps in Ubuntu dash dock or via below command in terminal.

sweeper

You can uninstall it using below command.

sudo snap remove sweeper

You can also install sweeper via below command.

sudo apt install sweeper
