Eyedropper is a easy to use and simple color picker application for Linux. It is free and open source color picker app released GNU General Public License v3.0 and written in Rust. You can pick any color from your screen and it will show the output in Hex, RGB, HSL, HSV, CMYK, XYZ and CIELAB formats. It also saves your picked color history list and you can edit the HEX value to change color.
Install Eyedropper on Ubuntu Linux
Eyedropper is available as a flatpak package file. So you need to install flatpak and flathub on your system. Follow below link for the installation instructions.
How to Install Flatpak and Flathub
Restart your system after the installation. After that open the terminal software using the ctrl+alt+t keys and run below Eyedropper installation command. It will install the latest version of Eyedropper color picker on your system
flatpak install flathub com.github.finefindus.eyedropper
After the installation you can start Eyedropper using below command.
flatpak run com.github.finefindus.eyedropper
And uninstall it using
sudo flatpak uninstall com.github.finefindus.eyedropper
