Exact Audio Copy is a free CD/DVD audio grabber using standard CD and DVD-ROM drives. It extracts CD/DVD audio and save them to your hard drive. CD, DVD, USB, Firewire, SATA and SCSI drives drives are supported. Exact Audio Copy not only copy tracks but also copy ranges of music data.
In Exact Audio Copy, there are two extration methods are availables.Fast and a burst extraction methods. It supports Multisession (CD-Extra), CD-Text, CD-Write for some drives. It comes with Small WAV editor with delete, trim, normalize, pad, glitch removal, pop detection, interpolation of ranges, noise reduction, fade in/out, undo functions.
It uses the Windows Audio Compression manager (ACM Codecs) for direct compression to e.g. MP3 waves. It supports external MP3, WMA, flac and OggVorbis encoders for automatic compression after extraction and LAME DLL for on-the-fly MP3 compression.It also supports Batch compression to WAV files and decompression of supported encoded files to WAV and compression offset.
