Customize GTK Themes Icons with Oomox Theme Designer

Oomox theme designer is a free and open source GTK theme and icon customizer application for Linux. Using this you can generate lots of color variations of Oomox, Materia themes and Archdroid, Gnome-Color, Numix, Papirus and Suru++ icon themes. Not only GTK themes it is also support many app themes support like Alacritty, Emacs, GTK4, KDE, VIM and many more.

How to Install Oomox Theme Designer on Ubuntu

Oomox Theme Designer is available as a flatpak package from the remote flathub repository. So you need to install flatpak and flathub on your system first. Follow below installation tutorial, if you don’t have flatpak on your system. Restart your system after the flatpak and flathub installation.

How to Install flatpak and flathub

After that open terminal software using the application menu or via the ctrl+alt+t keys and run below Oomox Theme Designer flatpak installation command.

flatpak install flathub com.github.themix_project.Oomox

And start Oomox Theme Designer app using this command.

flatpak run com.github.themix_project.Oomox

And uninstall Oomox Theme Designer using

sudo flatpak uninstall com.github.themix_project.Oomox
