Install MasVisGtk Audio Analysis Tool on Ubuntu Linux

MasVisGtk is a free and open source audio loudness analysis tool for Linux. Using MasVisGtk, you can easily analysis your music library and detect audio mastering defects. You can save the output in PNG, EPS, JPEG, PDF, SVG, TIFF and WebP file formats.

It comes with Waveform plotting, get all overview detail of files, frequency and histogram plot support, Dynamic Range (DR) and Peak estimation, Crest Factor estimation, , Peak vs. RMS plot, Loudness analysis, EBU R128 plot and Multi-channel audio support

How to Install MasVisGtk on Ubuntu

MasVisGtk is available as flatpak package file from the remote flathub. First install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation.

Install flatpak and flathub

After that open the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) and run below MasVisGtk flatpak install command.

flatpak install flathub io.github.itprojects.MasVisGtk

And open MasVisGtk using below command.

flatpak run io.github.itprojects.MasVisGtk

You can also uninstall it using below command.

flatpak uninstall io.github.itprojects.MasVisGtk
