Mousam is a free and open source weather application for Linux. Using Mousam app, you can get current weather conditions and forcasts in metric or imperial systems. It is a simple, lightweight and beautiful weather application based on Python and Gtk.
It comes with real-time temperature, humidity, wind speed, UV index, pressure data and graphical representations of temperature, precipitation graphs and wind-speed with direction. Some other useful features are hourly forecast for the next 24 hours, tomorrow and 7-day forcasts.
Install Mousam Weather App on Ubuntu
You can install Mousam application via flatpak and from flathub. If you don’t have flatpak and flathub, first install in your system and restart after that. Follow the below link for the installation instructions.
Install flatpak and flathub on Ubuntu
Now in the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) run below Mousam flatpak install command. It will install the latest Mousam on your system.
flatpak run io.github.amit9838.mousam
And open it using below command.
flatpak run io.github.amit9838.mousam
You can also uninstall Mousam app using below commands.
flatpak uninstall io.github.amit9838.mousam
