How to install Retro Sprite Editor on Ubuntu

To install Retro Sprite Editor on your system, first, if you don’t have it, install Flatpak and Flathub on your system using below two commands. Restart it after the installation.

sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo

After that open the terminal application (ctrl+alt+t) and run below Retro Sprite Editor flatpak install command. It will install the latest version of Retro Sprite Editor on your system.

flatpak install flathub io.github.xverizex.RetroSpriteEditor

You can open it using below command or via Show Apps Ubuntu dock menu.

flatpak run io.github.xverizex.RetroSpriteEditor

And uninstall it using below commands.

flatpak uninstall io.github.xverizex.RetroSpriteEditor

sudo flatpak uninstall io.github.xverizex.RetroSpriteEditor
