KXStitch is a free and open source cross stitch patterns and charts creator application for Linux. Using KXStitch, you can create patterns from scratch on a user defined size of grid or from image file. it comes with PC Stitch file support, floss pallets, DMC, Anchor, Madeira, Print and floss keys support, filled rectangles and ellipses, filled polygons, lines and backstitching and more.
Install KXStitch on Ubuntu Linux
KXStitch is available as a flatpak package file from the flathub store. First install flatpak and flathub on your Ubuntu Linux system and restart it after the installation.
Now in the terminal software run below KXStitch flatpak install command. It will install the latest version of KXStitch on your Ubuntu Linux system.
flatpak install flathub org.kde.kxstitch
After the successful installation of KXStitch, you can open it using theapplication menu or via below command.
flatpak run org.kde.kxstitch
And uninstall KXStitch using below command.
sudo flatpak uninstall org.kde.kxstitch
