It comes with registration, resampling, color/normal/scalar fields handling and statistics computation. It support more than 10 million points, and up to 120 million with 2 GB of memory. Some other useful features are display enhancement, sensor management, interactive segmentation, comparison between two 3D points clouds and more.

How to Install CloudCompare on Ubuntu
CloudCompare is available as a flatpak package file from flathub. First you need to install the latest version of flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation. Follow below link for the installation instruction.
After that open the terminal application (ctrl+alt+t) and run below CloudCompare flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub org.cloudcompare.CloudCompare
After the installation you can open CloudCompare app using below command.
flatpak run org.cloudcompare.CloudCompare
And uninstall CloudCompare using this command.
sudo flatpak uninstall org.cloudcompare.CloudCompare
