Amberol is a free and open source music player for Linux. It is a simple and easy to use audio player. You can play almost any file format. It is released under GNU General Public License, either version 3.0. It comes with keyboard shortcuts, color changing background, play in loop and shuffle songs, fast-forward, rewind, next/prev to skip songs. You can also add song or folder easily to play.
Install Amberol on Ubuntu Linux
Amberol is available via flatpak package for Linux from remote flathub. You need to install flatpak and flathub first and restart after the installation. Now open the command-line terminal application using ctrl+alt+t keys or via applications menu and run below Amberol flatpak installation command.
flatpak install flathub io.bassi.Amberol
It will install the latest version of Amberol music player on your system. You can run this app using below command. or via the application menu.
flatpak run io.bassi.Amberol
And uninstall it via
sudo flatpak uninstall io.bassi.Amberol
