Install Metadata Cleaner on Ubuntu
Metadata Cleaner is available as a flatpak package. First install flatpak if you don’t have. Restart your system and run below Metadata Cleaner flatpak installation command in terminal (ctrl+alt+t).
flatpak install flathub fr.romainvigier.MetadataCleaner
Then run Metadata Cleaner using this command.
flatpak run fr.romainvigier.MetadataCleaner
Add files using the top add files button. Then click the right finger print icon to view the metadata of that file.
Then click the clean button to remove the metadata and click the save to save the new file.
