You can export your subtitles to PNG, Adobe Encore FAB image script, VobSub, Blu-ray sup, EBU stl, PAC, and plain text. You can convert your subtitles between more that 280 file formats.
Install Subtitle Edit on Ubuntu
Subtitle Edit is available as a snap package for Ubuntu.Open your terminal application in Ubuntu. Press ctrl+alt+t together to open it. Now run Subtitle Edit snap installation command.
sudo snap install subtitle-edit --edge
After the installation run below command one by one to configure the Subtitles Editor.
sudo snap connect subtitle-edit:alsa :alsa
sudo snap connect subtitle-edit:removable-media :removable-media
sudo snap connect subtitle-edit:mount-observe :mount-observe
That’s all . Now you can open Subtitles Editor using below command
subtitle-edit
