WordPress New Photo Carousel

WordPress launched a new photo feature called photo carousel for its wordpress.com users.A full-size carousel view that presents your images as large as your display can contain them.Just click an image in a photo gallery on any WordPress.com blog to experience the carousel and navigate between photos using the left and right arrow keys, or by clicking or tapping the arrows on the left and right.And also like a photo from the carousel.

Direct Connect from Google search

Google has rolled out a new feature called Direct Connect and Google+ pages now appear in search results.Th e new feature direct Connect makes it easy for users to find and follow brands on Google+ via Google Search. Just go to Google and search for [+], followed by the page you’re interested in. Example: +Angry Birds . Now Direct Connect works for a limited number of pages (like +Google, +Pepsi, and +Toyota).

Google has finally rolling out Google+ Pages worldwide that allowing businesses and brands to join Google’s social network. For businesses and brands, Google+ pages help you connect with the customers and fans who love you. Not only can they recommend you with a +1, or add you to a circle to listen long-term. They can actually spend time with your team. All you need to do is start sharing, and you’ll soon find the super fans and loyal customers.

Now only one person from a company can maintain Google+ pages.

WordPress Notifications

WordPress.com launched a new feature called notification.This new feature only for logged-in users and it lives in the right corner of your Admin Bar.When user follows your blog or likes one of your posts it notifies. It also allows the user to follow back those fans right from the admin bar. This new feature is inspired by Google’s toolbar and Facebook’s new real-time stream.

Mozilla Firefox 8 released

Mozilla firefox 8 final is now available for download from Mozilla’s FTP site. It is currently not available on the firefox official homepage but expected to be available in November 8th .

Marie Curie’s 144th birthday google doodle

The search giant Google is celebrating the 144th birthday of Marie Curie with an google doodle on its homepage.Marie Sklodowska Curie (7 November 1867 – 4 July 1934) was a Polish–French physicist–chemist famous for her pioneering research on radioactivity. She was the first person honored with two Nobel Prizes—in physics and chemistry. She was the first female professor at the University of Paris. She was the first woman to be entombed on her own merits (in 1995) in the Paris Pantheon
