New Google Maps

Google has announced a new version of its popular Maps application at its I/O conference.

New features:

A Whole New Look.
new user-contribution feature called Map Maker.
zoom in on maps and see 3D renderings of buildings while searching for locations.
Users will now be able to see whether their friends have rated places using a new five-point rating scale.
new Explore feature.
Google Offers will now be integrated within Maps.
live coverage of incidents from around the world.
Dynamic rerouting in traffic view.
includes a schedule viewer for train and bus arrival times.
Google Earth have also been integrated into Maps to see famous landmarks and dynamically view 3D renders of them.

Mozilla firefox 21 stable is now available for download from Mozilla’s FTP site. It is currently not available on the firefox official homepage but expected to be available in May 14.

SkyDrive adds new photo timeline

Microsoft announced some new features to SkyDrive website.

New features:

1.All of your photos in SkyDrive across all your albums and folders based on a timeline view.
2.TPhotos are organized into groups by event and time.
3.scroll down to navigate through all the images.
4.quickly navigate by a month name.
5.view all your photos in the filmstrip view, and then watch them in a slide show.
6.2-3x improvement in upload times for photos.
7.Windows Phone full-resolution camera upload.
8.new thumbnails layout for PowerPoint and Word files.

Google offers 15 GB of free unified storage between Drive, Gmail, and Google+ Photos

Google announced that shared storage capacity across Drive, Google+ and Gmail is now 15GB.
Google also updated the Google Drive storage page with anew pie chart breaking down your own personal storage over each platform. Users can upgrade to 100GB of storage for $4.99 per month and 200GB of storage for $9.99 per month.

FileZilla Client 3.7.0 is now available for download.What’s new in this release?

Show total transfer speed as tooltip over the transfer indicators.
