GoldenDict is a free and open source dictionary lookup application for Linux, MacOS and Windows. It supports multiple dictionary formats and online dictionaries. Currently it supports StarDict, Babylon, Lingvo, Dictd, AARD, MDict and SDict file formats. Also supports Wikipedia, Wiktionary, or any other MediaWiki-based sites and more.
Some other features are use arbitrary websites as dictionaries, Hunspell-based morphology system, pronunciation lookups, full Unicode case, diacritics, punctuation and whitespace folding, Scan popup and more.

Install GoldenDict on Ubuntu Linux
You can install GoldenDict via flatpak from flathub. First install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation.
Now open the terminal command-line software using the ctrl+alt+t keys and run below GoldenDict software flatpak installation command. It will the latest version of GoldenDict on your system.
flatpak install flathub org.goldendict.GoldenDict
After the open the GoldenDict app uisng
flatpak run org.goldendict.GoldenDict
And also uninstall it using GoldenDict
sudo flatpak uninstall org.goldendict.GoldenDict
