Fixes:

Sigsegv when Exception::$trace is changed by user
Errors in eval’ed code produce status code 500
getenv produces memory leak with CGI SAPI.
FILTER_VALIDATE_INT does not accept +0 and -0
json_decode does not properly decode with options parameter
Update list of common mime types. Added webm, ogv, ogg.
segfault due to libcurl connection caching.
Memory leak when reusing curl-handle.
CURL >= 7.28.0 no longer support value 1 for CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYHOST.
Can’t enable hostname validation when using curl stream wrappers
Curlwapper is not sending http header randomly

60 million Windows 8 licenses sold

Windows Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Financial Officer Tami Reller has announced that 60 million licenses of Windows 8 have been sold to date and it includes both upgrades and sales to OEMs for new devices. And the Windows store has passed the 100 million app download mark in just two months.According to Tami there are more than 1700 certified systems for Windows 8 and Windows RT.

Thunderbird 17.0.2 is now available for download. Thunderbird is a free, open source, cross-platform e-mail and developed by the Mozilla Foundation.

Ubuntu phone OS Unveiled

Mark Shuttleworth revealed that Canonical has developed a touchscreen based version of Ubuntu OS. Ubuntu for phone was made specifically for both high end and budget smartphones.

System requirements for Entry level Ubuntu smartphone:

Processor architecture – 1Ghz Cortex A9
Memory – 512MB
Flash storage –    4 to 8GB eMMC + SD

System requirements for High-end Ubuntu superphone:

Processor architecture – Quad-core A9 or Intel Atom
Memory – Min 1GB
Flash storage –    Min 32GB eMMC + SD
