Thunderbird 31.2.0 released

Thunderbird 31.2.0 is now available for download. Thunderbird is a free, open source, cross-platform e-mail and developed by the Mozilla Foundation.

What’s new in this version of thunderbird?

Fixed a case where having a contact and card in an address book with the same name could send to the mailing list.

Inconsistent video sharing within iframe
Use-after-free interacting with text directionality
Out-of-bounds write with WebM video
Web Audio memory corruption issues with custom waveforms
Buffer overflow during CSS manipulation

Microsoft Announces Windows 10

Microsoft officially announced the next version of Windows, it’s Windows 10 and not Windows 9. The final version of windows 10  won’t be available until the middle of 2015.

Dorothy Hodgkin’s 104th birthday google doodle

Google is celebrating Dorothy Hodgkin’s 104th birthday with a new doodle on its homepage.
Dorothy Mary Hodgkin, OM, FRS (12 May 1910 – 29 July 1994), born Crowfoot, was a British biochemist, credited with the development of protein crystallography. She was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1964.
