According to Net Applications,in july Total market share of microsoft internet explore is 52.71% , firefox 21.47%,chrome 13.49%, Safari 8.10% and opera 1.65%.On Windows 7, Internet Explorer 9 hits 18.5% share worldwide and the total market share of internet explorer 9 on all operating system is 11.05. Although Internet Explorer lost usage share on XP.

Adobe has released a new web motion and interaction design tool called Adobe Edge.It allows users to create animated content to websites and it uses HTML5, JavaScript and CSS3 web standards.It is currently available for free (registration required).

Email intervention

Google has announced a new service called Email intervention. Using this service now gmail users can send intervention letters to convince their friends to switch to gmail.

1.Go to Emailintervention  website and Click START THE INTERVENTION button.

2.Sign into your Gmail account and click the grand access button .The system detects which of your friends aren’t using Gmail and lets you select which ones you want to stage an intervention for.

3.Customize your intervention letter or include Google’s intervention video or create your own video and send.

Boot to Gecko (B2G)

Boot to Gecko (B2G) is a new standalone operating system for the open web from Mozilla.This project is in its early stage.developers break down the building process in four steps.

1.New web APIs: build prototype APIs for exposing device and OS capabilities to content (Telephony, SMS, Camera, USB, Bluetooth, NFC, etc.)
2.Privilege model: making sure that these new capabilities are safely exposed to pages and applications
3.Booting: prototype a low-level substrate for an Android-compatible device;
4.Applications: choose and port or build apps to prove out and prioritize the power of the system.
