iphone 4S pre-order breaks the previous 24 hours pre-order record of 600,000 iPhone 4, apple announced on October 10, 2011 in a press release.The iPhone 4S will be available in the U.S. at 8 a.m. local time on Friday, Oct. 14.iPhone 4S comes in either black or white .The iPhone 4S will retail for $199 for a 16 GB model and $299 for a 32 GB model.

This setting controls who you’ll get notifications from, if they:

The new alert from facebook page shows that Facebook will be removing Discussions app on October 31st.

Alert says
“We’re Making Pages Better:
We want to make sure the tools you use to manage your page are as effective as possible. Here’s an update that may affect how you connect with your audience:

Discussions: The best way to encourage conversation and feedback is through posts and comments on your Wall. To focus on this, we’ll be removing the Discussions app on October 31st.”

Ubuntu 12.04 ‘Precise Pangolin’

Ubuntu founder Mark Shuttleworth has announced that the codename for Ubuntu 12.04 will be ‘Precise Pangolin‘.Ubuntu 12.04 LTS is due for release in April 2012.
A pangolin is a mammal of the order Pholidota.Pangolins have large keratin scales covering their skin and are the only mammals with this adaptation.The name “pangolin” derives from the Malay word pengguling (“something that rolls up”).
