Mobile/Tablet Operating System Market Share:

The total market share of iOS is 54.65% (Up 1.61%), java ME 18.52% (down 2.05%), Android 16.26% (Up 0.28%), symbian 6.12% (down 0.09%), blackberry 3.29% (down 0.04%) and windows mobile 0.27% (down 0.07%).

Brazil – 18.9%
Singapore – 16.4%
U.S. – 15.4%
India – 14.0%
New Zealand – 13.9%
France – 15.1%
Australia – 13.1%
U.K. – 12.2%

Facebook gained in market share by 5% in the U.S. since last year.
The fastest growing social network in india is facebook.

According to Nielsen,
The average U.S. user spent 7 hours and 46 minutes on Facebook.

Google Maps launched a new feature that allows user to preview the route in 3D.Just enter start, mid and endpoint destinations to get directions as usual, and a new 3D play button will appear next to the returned directions.click on the button and the map will switch to Earth view and automatically start flying you along your recommended route. To get back to 2D mode by clicking on the “2D” button in the left panel at any time.

Google chrome overtake firefox before the end of the year

According to Web analytics company StatCounter,Google’s Chrome Web browser could become the second most popular browser before the end of the year.And in September 2011 show that Internet Explorer has 41.7 percent market share,Firefox has 26.8 percent of market share and Chrome’s market share is 23.6 percent.
