Today google is celebrating the Children’s Day (India) with a google doodle on its homepage. This doodle was sketched by a 7 year old Varsha Gupta (Doodle 4 Google 2011 india winner) from Noida, India. The doodle artfully represents many musical instruments that India has introduced to the to the world. In india Children’s Day is celebrated on November 14, the birthday of India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.

WordPress 300 million unique visitors and 60 million blogs

According to wordpress founder Matt Mullenweg,the blogging software is now powering more than 60 million blogs and half of the 60 million WordPress powered blogs are hosted by WordPress.com. And these blogs generates more than 300 million unique visitors per month. He also says that 92 percent of clients are using WordPress as a content management system in addition to a blog.
