Mozilla Firefox 16 beta 1 for Windows, Mac and Linux is now available for download and testing.

Opera 12.02 is now available for download.What’s new in this release? Opera 12.02 is a security and stability update.

Several general fixes and stability improvements.
Resolved an issue with Speed Dial thumbnails when automatic scaling is enabled.

Java SE 7 Update 7 Released

Java SE 7 update 7 is now available for download.This release fixes latest Java vulnerability that is being exploited in the wild right now.

This Security Alert addresses security issues CVE-2012-4681 (US-CERT Alert TA12-240A) and two other vulnerabilities affecting Java running in web browsers on desktops.
These vulnerabilities are not applicable to Java running on servers or standalone Java desktop applications and Oracle server-based software.

These vulnerabilities may be exploited over a network without the need for a username and password. To be successfully exploited, an unsuspecting user running an affected release in a browser will need to visit a malicious web page that leverages this vulnerability. Successful exploits can impact the availability, integrity, and confidentiality of the user’s system.

Thunderbird 15 is now available for download. Thunderbird is a free, open source, cross-platform e-mail and developed by the Mozilla Foundation.

What’s new in this version of thunderbird?

Do Not Track: This option has been implemented as an addition to Search the Web.

Contact Tab is a free wordpress plugin add a slides out contact form to WordPress site

Main features:

Slides out when tab on left/right of page/post is clicked
Slides in after successful completion of form
Includes three fields- name, email , textbox for message
Captcha to prevent spam (captcha is optional)
Ajax form submit
Appearance of Contact tab such as text color, background color etc can be customized.
Email sent can be forwarded to an additional email address besides the WordPress admin email account.

Mozilla firefox 15 final is now available for download from Mozilla’s FTP site. It is currently not available on the firefox official homepage but expected to be available in August 28, 2012

Social Skew Bar wordpress plugin

Social Skew Bar is a free wordpress plugin that displays a static social sharing bar on the top of the wordpress site even you scroll the page. It includes Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus buttons.

To install Social Skew Bar

Login to wordpress (wp-admin).
In your admin dashboard click plugins and select Add New.
Type Social Skew Bar in the search field and click Search Plugins button.
Install Social Skew Bar.
After the successfully Installation click the activate Plugin link to activate the plugin.
