XBMC 12.1 is now available for download.XBMC is a free and open source (GPL) media player and entertainment hub for digital media. XBMC is available for Linux, OSX, and Windows.

What’s new in this release?

XBMC now supports using OSX’s default output device for audio as well as hardware decoding with Intel GPUs in OSX
XBMC no longer hogs audio for Linux and on resume audio will continue to work in Linux
Full iPhone 5 resolution is now enabled
Volume buttons on Android devices now control Android volume, rather than XBMC volume
Volume buttons on OSX devices once again control OSX volume, rather than XBMC volume
Player optimization on the Raspberry Pi, including more efficient playback, better subtitle support, and many crash fixes

VirtualBox 4.2.10 released

VirtualBox 4.2.10 is now available for download.This is a maintenance release.What’s new in this release?

GUI: fixed keyboard with XQuartz X server
Main/Display: fixed a crash with multi-monitors under certain conditions
Main/Properties: fixed a crash under certain conditions, for example after wakeup from host hibernate
Settings: don’t lose the internal network settings if they are not currently active
Storage: another incompatibility fix for VHD differencing images with Hyper-V
VBoxManage: don’t read beyond the end of the file specified with export –eulafile

Windows 7 SP1 automatic update

Microsoft has announced that Windows 7 SP1 will begin rolling out automatically to consumers via Windows Update from march 19.Windows 7 SP1 was previously available on Windows Update but required user action to install and from tomorrow, the installation will be fully automatic with no user action required for those who already have Automatic Update enabled.

This update applies to Windows 7 users that are not managed by a Microsoft management tool such as Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or WSUS Server.

Notepad++ 6.3.1 is now available for download.What’s new in this release?
