Recordbox Music Player

Recordbox is a free and open source music player for Linux. It is written in Rust and released under GNU General Public License. It comes with double-paned library browser, display of embedded or external album art, gapless playback, ReplayGain support, based on GStreamer, view and edit lyrics, Integration with GNOME’s global search and many more.

Install Recordbox Music Player on Ubuntu

Recordbox Music Player is available as a flatpak package file from the remote flathub. First install flatpak and flathub on your system and restart it after the installation.

Install flatpak and flathub

After that open the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) and run below Recordbox flatpak install command. It will install the latest version of Recordbox on your system.

flatpak install flathub ca.edestcroix.Recordbox

Now run this command to open Recordbox Music Player.

flatpak run ca.edestcroix.Recordbox

You can also uninstall it using below commands.

flatpak uninstall ca.edestcroix.Recordbox

[OR]

sudo flatpak uninstall ca.edestcroix.Recordbox
