KHangMan is a free and open source hangman game for Linux. It tailored specifically for children aged six and above. It comes with diverse word categories, such as Animals, and offers three levels of difficulty: Easy, Medium, and Hard.
In this game a random word is selected from the chosen category, its letters concealed, and the challenge begins. Your task is to unveil the mystery word by strategically guessing one letter at a time. With each incorrect guess, a illustration of a hangman unfolds. You need to decode the word before the charming hangman character completes his appearance. It comes with10 attempts to master the challenge.
How to Install KHangMan on Ubuntu
To install KHangMan on your system, open the terminal app (ctrl+alt+t) and run below command.
sudo apt install khangman
It will install the latest version of KHangMan on your system. You can open it using below command or via Show Apps menu.

Install KHangMan via Snap:
You can also install KHangMan using below command.
sudo snap install khangman
Install KHangMan via Flatpak:
It is also available as a flatpak package from the flathub. In the terminal application run below KHangMan flatpak install command.
flatpak install flathub org.kde.khangman
And open it using below command.
flatpak run org.kde.khangman
Note: If you don’t already have flatpak and flathub installed,then install them on your system using the commands provided below. After the installation, restart your system.
sudo apt install flatpak
